Theoretical
- Content fully adapted to the staff's category concerned:
- Purpose of the DG Regulations and general principles.
- Applicability
- Limitations, Hidden dangerous goods, Provisions for Dangerous Goods carried by Passengers or Crew.
- Classification.
- Identification.
- Packing
- Packaging Specifications and Performance Tests (UN).
- Marking and Labelling.
- Documentation. (NOTOC)
- Handling, Segregations and Emergency Procedures.
- Radioactive Material (radiation hazards, separation and minimum distances, IT, segregation, stowage)

Duration indicative basis
4 hrs (minimum, duration can be extended on request)
Prerequisites
For recurrent training: initial training Dangerous Goods-Category 10 completed less than two years old.
Method
- Theoretical course in classroom.
- A qualified and experienced trainer provides the training action.
Evaluation
- Theoretical : Continuous exercises - Written validation final test (minimum 80% pass mark required).
Validity
Maximum 2 years (IATA / Dangerous Goods Regulations). Recurrent training must be provided within 24 months of previous training to ensure knowledge is current.
