Acquire the knowledge to ensure the search of aircraft in compliance with security rules

Contents

Theoretical

• Knowledge of legal provisions applicable to aircraft security searches.
• Knowledge of configuration of type (s) of aircraft on which the person will be required to perform security searches.
• Ability to identify prohibited articles.
• Ability to react appropriately when detecting prohibited articles.
• Knowledge of means of concealing prohibited articles.
• Ability to conduct aircraft security searches to a standard sufficient to reasonably ensure the detection of concealed prohibited items.
