Shippers and persons undertaking the responsibilities of shippers, including operator's staff acting as shipper, operator’s staff preparing dangerous goods as Company Material (COMAT), including radioactive material (Class 7).

Objectives

Acquire knowledge to ensure that dangerous goods, including radioactive material, are shipped by air in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations.

Training based on current DGR IATA (Dangerous Goods Regulations).

35 hrs / 5 days (minimum, duration can be extended on request)

  • Theoretical course in classroom.

Maximum 2 years (IATA / Dangerous Goods Regulations). Recurrent training must be provided within 24 months of previous training to ensure knowledge is current.
